Flavor Blending Unique Nicotine Salt E-Liquids

by | | 2 comment(s)

If you’re wild about salt nicotine but you’re craving some more unique flavors than what’s available, you might want to consider flavor blending. This extremely simple practice allows you to express your creative side and concoct mouth-watering flavors that are catered to your highly unique taste buds.

While flavor blending is simple, there are still some things to keep in mind before throwing a bunch of different e-liquids into a large bottle. We’re going to walk you through the process so that you can be a flavor-blending expert in no time.

Can You Flavor Blend Salt Nic E-Liquid Like You Can with Freebase?

There’s really no reason why you can’t blend e-juices made with nic salts like you can juices made with freebase nicotine. After all, both of these types contain flavoring additives that have nothing to do with the nicotine itself.

What are the Advantages of Flavor Blending with Salt Nic E-Juice?

One of the most obvious advantages of blending salt nic e-juice flavors is that it allows you to create new flavor profiles that you might not be able to find out there. This might be especially appealing to nic salt fans as there aren’t as many flavors available as there are with freebase. Essentially, flavor blending allows you to make up new flavorful combinations without having to go through the hassle of making your own batches from scratch.

Tips for Flavor Blending with Salt-Based E-Liquid

These tips are essential if you want to flavor blend the right way:

Tip #1: Don’t Combine Nicotine Contents

While you can combine different e-liquid flavors with no problems, you can’t combine two different nicotine types, otherwise your e-liquid just won’t work with your device, its tank and primarily the coil. Freebase and salt-based nicotine require two different output settings. By combining them, you might end up with a poor flavor or a weak draw.

Tip #2: Keep Your Batches Small at First

When you’re just starting out, resist the temptation to make a huge batch of a new flavor blend. Understanding how to properly layer flavors can take some trial and error and making a large batch right off the bat can result in a loss of wasted e-liquid if you’re not happy with the taste created. Start with small batches instead. Once satisfied with a mix, you can make a large batch of it.

Tip #3: Don’t Overdo It

Don’t be tempted to combine six or seven e-liquid flavors together. This can overwhelm the palate and even cause vaper’s tongue. The taste buds become fatigued when they’re perceiving too many flavor notes at one time, meaning that you might lose your ability to actually taste the e-juice while you’re vaping it. Start with blending two or three flavors.

Tip #4: Use High-Quality Nic Salt E-Juices

One mistake that first-timers make is trying to make a cheap, poor-tasting e-liquid better by blending it with a much more satisfying nic salt liquid. We really suggest that you only blend flavors that are each good on their own.

Tip #5L Play it Safe at First

When you’re just starting out, you probably want to stick to flavor combos that you already know work very well together. For example, you really can’t go wrong when combining fruits.

I have a question that's probably the most important one I'll ever ask. As a former smoker whose Cardiologist advised to "never use tobacco again" as I vaped an eCig in front of him - the question I need to know is, Nic Salts: does that mean sodium is part of the vape or is there an answer I can give to those who might ask me what the chemistry is? Thanks in advance - I hesitated to ask but none of us should fear questions about safety after what this is replacing; tobacco isn't exactly sold in health food stores :-)

I use Dinner Lady Salt, I buy it from an eCig-City coupon, I suggest to all vapers that Nicotine salts should not be used in sub ohm tanks just to start because it's much thicker and its many causes burned your flavor.
